Your health team are there to help you have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.
Checking in regularly with your midwife and Aboriginal health team is important. If you ever feel unwell or have questions they can offer you advice that is best for you and your baby.

Your tummy is a bit more sensitive when pregnant which makes some foods not as safe for pregnant mums.
How do I know which ones?
We have some ways to help keep your bub safe. Some foods have bacteria that can cause you or bub to become unwell. They should give you information at your appointments and you can always ask your health professionals.

These foods improve your sleep, improves your health and helps (bub) in their development.
So how do I make sure I’m eating healthy?
Try to make your plate as colourful as possible. Different coloured foods all have different things to help us be healthy.
